Millions of Americans Unprepared for Real ID

A survey commissioned by the U.S. Travel Association shows that nearly three-quarters of Americans are unprepared for REAL ID, the new identification program that travelers will need to board a flight beginning October 1, 2020.

Millions could be prevented from boarding a plane if they do not have a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or another approved form of identification to board a flight.

The survey, conducted by Longwoods International for the U.S. Travel Association, found that 72 percent of Americans either do not have a REAL ID license or are unsure if they do.

American Express & Delta Revamp SkyMiles Cards

American Express and Delta will relaunch the entire Delta SkyMiles portfolio of Amex cards on Jan. 30, 2020, rolling out redesigned versions of all seven SkyMiles personal and small and midsize business cards. The updated cards will feature more ways to earn miles and new travel benefits designed for particular cardholder types.

The three American Express Delta SkyMiles cards targeted for small and midsize business owners will offer enhanced rewards tailored for business spending. The new perks for each card type will include:
