United Airlines Finally Reveals How New Overbooking Compensation System Works
United Airlines is now detailing how the carrier's new voluntary overbooking compensation system will play out.
After quietly testing the system last month in a handful of markets, today the Chicago-based carrier rolled out the new system in all of its United States hubs, including Chicago.
Now United management will get a much better sense of whether the system is working and whether it will remain in place for the long haul.

Hotels Try to Shut Out Noise From Guestrooms
Hotels are trying to lull guests to sleep by proactively minimizing the noise they can hear in their rooms.
From double insulating walls to adding thicker headboards to installing quieter air conditioning units to providing white noise machines, hotels are trying to provide a more calming sleep environment.

American Airlines adopted new Alexa skills developed by WPP inflight entertainment company, Spafax, which will allow the airline’s customers to query their Echos and similar Alexa-powered home helpers about what movies and programs will be shown on their flights, including details about actors and film ratings.
